It is already June and I have finally settled in our new place. Arranging the new place and decorating are quiet draining but it is totally worth especially if the hubby was the one doing the hands-on. Hahahaha. Meanwhile, I was took OCness to the next level with the colors and the pieces. But hands down to the hubby for doing all the listing of all things that the place needs and you know, for doing all the dirty works from going to the Depot Store and accomplishing the backbreaking work back at the place.
After the cleaning and DIYing, I felt accomplished because it’s one of the first projects that the hubby and I worked on together. It gave me a nice feeling that we had contributed something to create a space all for ourselves. Ayieee. I can’t wait to spend the incoming months in the new haven. 😀
On the other hand, I also got new pets to keep me company while the hubby is mostly away for work. For this year, I found myself obsessed with rodents so I got meself 2 pairs of gerbils and 3 female rats. And oh, aren’t they the cutest thing ever? Geez, I would’ve never believed that I’d gotten to a point where I would take care of rats when previously, they really gross me out because you knoowwww….But all the pictures in the Instagram did convince me that rats make wonderful pets and indeed, they are. But you just have to be prepared for all the destruction that they are going to make. Heh. My apologies but I forgot to take good pictures of the cutie furries though.
June was also the month that I got to finish my target of reading 60 books a year and got the 2022 badge from Goodreads. I am also happy to announce that I have found a new favorite author <3. Goodness gracious but the duo Ilona Andrews took UF to a whole new level with their awesome storytelling and badass characters. I finished all their available books in 1.5 months because I did not stop until I have not read all their books even the novellas. Yes, they are that good. I wish them many more birthdays to come so they can write more books for as long as I live. Ehe.
So that is for the month of June. Can’t wait for July. 😀
