Shorties: Ayieee… I’m eggzoited

Oh, I just realized that I can actually use my mobile application to make a post here. Hmmmnnnn…. I am still getting the hang of it, I hope it is convenient to use so I’d use it frequently because I am too lazy to bring my laptop home and use it to update this blog. For now, I can say that I am definitely a mobile phone person.

Anyhow, this is just a short update and I will probably be doing this a lot now that I can write a blog post on mobile.  So why I am posting? I just want to squee because I have not only found out that I have reading groove back again but also rose out from my TV Series watching and gaming slump. Wow. I feel like a new person. Ehe.

As I have already mentioned in my previous blog posts, I got addicted to Lucifer, a Netflix TV Series which I have discovered after seeing the hubby having a good laugh at it. And I also ended having a good laugh at it because it was so crazy. Tom Ellis made the evil Lucifer a lovable and relatable character that I didn’t realize that I finished all six seasons in just 2 weeks I think. And whenever I look back to the episodes that I had watched, I’ll still find myself laughing at the scenes.

So I am thanking Lucifer for getting me out of my slump. As a matter of fact, I have just added to my watchlist the following:

  • The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina the Witch – Interesting storyline and I must admit that the primary reason that I added it to the Watchlist is because it has something to do with Lucifer Morningstar
  • Brooklyn 9-9 – I saw a videoclip on Youtube and it was so damn funny so yeah, to the watchlist it went.
  • K-drama: Happiness – An insightful K-drama that delves on what it really takes to be happy despite a Zombie Apocalypse. and yeah, Han Hyo Joo is a favorite actress of mine.
  • K-drama: Alchemy of Souls – A fantasy K-drama that checked all the things that I am looking for in fantasy show. It has its flaws but OMG, the crazy is just too precious not to watch this.
  • K-drama: King’s Affection– A gender-bender sageuk drama that started as fantastic but then lost steam halfway. I had parked this for so long because I just don’t have the energy to watch it.
  • K-drama: Sell Your Haunted House (Completed) – A comedy-horror K-drama that is straightforward and really has nothing new to offer to the table but still….

In between the numerous series that I am currently watching, I also found time to squeeze in some casual reading of novels that piqued my interest. Technically, I have already completed my Goodreads Reading Challenge so I am not in a hurry to finish the books that I have newly added to my TBR. Carry On by Rainbow Rowell gave me a good feeling but it does not have the magic that Harry Potter has. I am still trying to finish Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time series and got stuck at Book 5. Oh well, you can’t have it all.

On another note, I played Stardew Valley again after so many months of hiatus.  I guess Concerned Ape’s announcement on Twitter that the 1.5 update for mobile players will be released this year has given me new motivation to get back on track with my in-game goals pronto.

So what have you been doing, guys?
