Book Review: Clockwork Princess

Perhaps it isn’t proper for me to write this review while I am undergoing an emotional upheaval right this very minute. Book Review: The Cuckoo’s Calling

Being JK Rowling’s first crime adult novel, I must say that she’d done an impressive job on this one. The Cuckoo’s Calling has managed to render me awestruck for a moment or two before I accepted two things: 1. Sherlock’s still the best sleuth in town and 2. Cormoran Strike didn’t manage to dislodge Professor Robert Langdon from occupying the number 2 spot in my heart. The Cuckoo’s Calling was an entertaining read but it didn’t have the brilliance of Dan Brown’s Angels and Demons series (esp. Book Review: All’s Fair In Blog and War

All’s Fair in Blog and War is one cliché story I’ve come to adore. Except for blogging and a travel to Macau, there’s nothing really new here and had the author failed to execute the whole thing properly, my eyes would have been pointing at different directions from numerous eyerolls.
