Book Review: The Year of the Knife

This review has long been overdue, my bad. I requested the Year of the Knife’s ARC from Netgalley around 2017 and then, life happened. I had an oversight, forgot to download it, and yup, affected my Netgalley review rating. As an OCD, it irks me that I have pending ARCs and the math is not mathing. Heh. So here I am, writing this review. Yep, I have to buy the e-book in order to read the book. Fortunately, despite the obscurity of Year of the Knife, I found it entertaining. Book Review: Bittersweet In The Hollow

Can someone please remind me why it’s always the young adult girls have the sole wisdom, experience, and intuition to solve a long forgotten murder that led to a series of murders in the present? If you don’t know yet, I have followed the writing of Sanctuary in Ilona Andrew’s blog. Every week, I’d set a reminder to tell me that oh, it’s that time of the day when I must visit their blog and read one chapter of…

Event Review: #CampNetgalley

As they say, it’s always better to be late than never because I was certainly late for this online Netgalley event. It’s a good thing that I was looking for titles yesterday and I came across the Camp Netgalley in the Read Now titles. Hehehe. So I joined because having a #CampNetgalley badge is kind of cool. When I checked the things that need to be done for a successful participation in the Camp, I thought that “OK FINE. These are all doable given the time that I have so let’s do this.” So here I am right now, writing…
