Book Review: A Drop of Corruption

Ever since finishing Robert Jackson Bennett’s The Divine Cities series, I knew that I’m already a fan. And while I have not yet touched his the The Founders Trilogy, rest assured that it’s already added on my TBR list. I’m just swamped with a lot of ARCs that I need to finish right now including this book. Anyhow, I’m so glad that Del Rey had given me the opportunity to read and review A Drop of Corruption because heaven knows, I’ve been waiting for it since I finished The Tainted Cup last year. Book Review: Fallen Academy Year One

I really had high expectations for this book because the blurb was so reminiscent of my all time favorite series, Harry Potter, only that we are dealing with angels and demons here instead of wizards and witches. While I was reading  A Betrayal of Storms, I felt like I was running a daily errand that I just want to finish as…

Book Review: Fangs for Nothing

Wow! Who would have thought that I’d be able to fish a treasure from Netgalley? Fangs for Nothing was a pleasant surprise because to be honest, my expectation for it is that it would just be another vampire story.  And the primary reason why I picked it up because of it’s gorgeous purple cover. It definitely spoke to me and I just had to hit that request button. I’m so glad that the story lived up to the gorgeous cover! Right off the bat, Fangs for Nothing immediately hooked me as I was introduced to our main protagonists, Alaric and…
