Book Review: The Year of the Knife

This review has long been overdue, my bad. I requested the Year of the Knife’s ARC from Netgalley around 2017 and then, life happened. I had an oversight, forgot to download it, and yup, affected my Netgalley review rating. As an OCD, it irks me that I have pending ARCs and the math is not mathing. Heh. So here I am, writing this review. Yep, I have to buy the e-book in order to read the book. Fortunately, despite the obscurity of Year of the Knife, I found it entertaining. Book Review: Fallen Academy Year One

I really had high expectations for this book because the blurb was so reminiscent of my all time favorite series, Harry Potter, only that we are dealing with angels and demons here instead of wizards and witches. While I was reading  A Betrayal of Storms, I felt like I was running a daily errand that I just want to finish as…

Book Review: Fangs for Nothing

Wow! Who would have thought that I’d be able to fish a treasure from Netgalley? Fangs for Nothing was a pleasant surprise because to be honest, my expectation for it is that it would just be another vampire story.  And the primary reason why I picked it up because of it’s gorgeous purple cover. It definitely spoke to me and I just had to hit that request button. I’m so glad that the story lived up to the gorgeous cover! Right off the bat, Fangs for Nothing immediately hooked me as I was introduced to our main protagonists, Alaric and…
