I don’t fall inlove at first sight but rather, I fall in love at the first heartfelt laugh, at the first banter, at the first exchange of meaningful discussion, at the first healthy argument, at the first shared experience, at the first bloom of deep friendship.
I do not fall in love with just the pretty alone. I fall in love with the whole package: the prettiest and ugliest parts, the broken and scarred pieces, the untarnished surfaces, and every thing in between.
I am pleased and beyond thankful that at the numerous stops in our journey, God has allowed me to experience all the firsts with you… and for letting me see you like I am looking at the finest diamond in the market. Glorious and brave despite the many facets of pretty and flawed.
