Albertalli is now getting promoted from my Author Watch list to my Favorite Authors List. Though I enjoyed The Homo Sapiens Agenda more (Simon and Blue FTW), The Upside of Unrequited has its own charm to draw in readers to its universe. So Guarding Mr. Fine was my first HelenKay Dimon book and I can say that it didn’t disappoint but didn’t wow me either. Although it has all the things that I want (the bodyguard setup, the one night stand, some mystery twist… you get the idea) in an Adult Contemporary Romance book, it still fell short especially in the romance department.
