Book Review: Lailah

Lailah’s a total winner when it comes to giving me a lot of time to sleep, idle around, check blogs, and do other mundane things for three days. Yes, three days. Normally, I can finish a 300-page book within 3-4 hours but Lailah’s oh so boring that I spent more time doing other things than reading it. Book Review: Fyre

Well, that was disappointing. Years and years of following the Septimus Heap series and all I get is a conclusion that is crammed with unnecessary scenes and characters that didn’t grow at all. I don’t know if my standards have improved or this book was just awful. I used to enjoy the series during my pre-blogging days. The series was not ground breaking but still, it was fun to read. Book Review: Red Queen

This one’s a disappointment. Instead of a book hangover, Red Queen left me questioning myself whether its positive points are worth the pain that I have to go through while reading the whole thing. It’s not essentially a bad book but I just can’t connect with the story, with the characters, and the whole love quadrangle.
