Book Review: When He Was Wicked

Ah…. It has been so long since I read the first book of the Bridgerton series and it is still surreal to me that I am already writing review for the 6th book in the series. Yes, I know that it took me a long time to get here…to get to this point but hey, I’m here right now. Honestly, I was already resigned to the fact that the Bridgerton Series would be another statistics to my ever growing pile of unfinished series but look at that, two more books and I’ll be saying goodbye to our beloved Bridgertons. Book Review: Neverwhere

Prior to reading Neverwhere, I have already read several Neil Gaiman books and it’s prolly obvious by now that I immensely enjoyed all his works. As of this review, there’s no single Neil Gaiman book that I did not like and I’m glad that Neverwhere would not be the first time. These are my key takeaways after reading Bittersweet in the Hollow. Bittersweet in the Hollow is not a bad book per se but it’s mediocre in a lot of ways. First…

Book Review: My Fair Brady

I did not expect that I would enjoy a book that involves theatre and all its nitty-gritty details but after finishing My Fair Brady,  I just had to declare to myself that there is always a first time. To say that I enjoyed this book would be an understatement because I love it; its characters, the story, the dynamics, and the way that the author made the theatre concept (I really thought it’s gonna be a boring subject you know). And to think that this was just a random pick from My Public Library made the book even more precious…
