The title of this book couldn’t have been more apt after reading it. I just felt betrayed because I deeply believed that A Betrayal of Storms was in the same vein as A Court of Roses and Thorns only to find out that I was misled by the blurb. Book Review: Shoestring Theory

Finally, another gem in my pile of digital ARCs! I am so glad that I found it on Netgalley and requested for the ARC because I absolutely loved everything about it. Book Review: Bone Roots

After finishing Bone Roots, the first thing that came to mind was “This was weird. Weird in a very good way.” It’s not your typical Disney fairy tale story but nonetheless, Bone Roots has all the feels of a good fairy tale story. Book Review: Skyfarer

Finally, I was able to mine a gem in Netgalley. Despite some minor issues, Skyfarer didn’t disappoint from beginning to end. The story goes like this: An apprentice sorceress, Aimee de Laurent, just finished school and had a taste of what the real world is by becoming a portal mage for a spaceship named Elysium.
