Book Review: So Into You

I can’t understand why this book has some low ratings in GR due to “religious themes” because after reading it, I did not feel like I had to go to Church and atone for my sins as soon as possible. If anything at all, So Into You was one of the best contemporary romance books I’ve read this year so far, not that I’d read a lot of romance stories this year. But believe me, I also had my phase wherein I won’t read anything that is not a romance book at all. So give me some street cred because…

Book Review: The Last Raven

Holy mother of Raven, I did not expect that ending! It was not cliffhangery but I seriously did not expect that because I was still reeling from the other twists the author has thrown my way. Right, let me calm down first and let’s start from the beginning.  Emilia Raven, the protagonist of our story, is a blood borne vampire which means that she is an offspring of pure vampires only that she did not inherit the vampiric DNA. Patterson was not until I…

Book Review: Nightstrider

Why is the author making us wait this long for the 2nd book to come out? I want to jump right into it after finishing Nightstrider because I don’t want to break that feeling about being so hyped up about our beloved characters finally smoking the peace pipe (albeit temporarily) and uniting to bring down the accursed conqueror of both the Wake and the Reverie. While it’s not the best among the epic fantasies that littered the genre today, Nighstrider brought a lot of yummy goodness to the table. As one of our characters always say, this book is real…
