The Septimus Heap series is in no way perfect. In fact, weighing between the pros and cons of the whole series, the cons had won out.  I think it is Angie Sage’s talent for building a magical world that made me pick this book up. Book Review: Fyre

Well, that was disappointing.  Years and years of following the Septimus Heap series and all I get is a conclusion that is crammed with unnecessary scenes and characters that didn’t grow at all.  I don’t know if my standards have improved or this book was just awful. I used to enjoy the series during my pre-blogging days.  The series was not ground breaking but still, it was fun to read.
