Book Review: Bone Roots

After finishing Bone Roots, the first thing that came to mind was “This was weird. Weird in a very good way.” It’s not your typical Disney fairy tale story but nonetheless, Bone Roots has all the feels of a good fairy tale story. Book Review: The Scarlet Veil

I’m actually torn about this book. I enjoyed it and at the same time, it frustrated me a lot. For one, I enjoyed Celie’s growth as a character and how she coped up with her horrid past. I also like the how the story was structured and how it flowed seamlessly. No scenarios, no convos were forced. Lifely Updates #23

It’s January 2023 and we’re finally back to reality and prolly, dieting!!! I will be honest with you, guys. Writing the update for January is kind of dreadful because you know,  you get to sit down again in the corner of your room, take out your brand new journal and jot down  your resolutions, plans, intentions, whatever for the year. Lifely Updates #22

Has everyone already posted their December updates? Hehehehe. So my blog, Facebook, Twitter, and IG feeds are all awash with the Holiday updates that I did contemplate about not posting because everybody is already doing it. Hehehe. Just like everyone else, I went on a Holiday together with the hubby. It was by far the longest vacation that I have because I left for Cebu in the 24th, travelled to Butuan on the 28th, and returned to Gensan on the 2nd of January the following year.
