Book Review: My Salty Mary

After falling in love with My Lady Jane, there’s just no way that I’d let My Salty Mary pass my grabby hands. It has Little Mermaid in it, piracy, and all that crazy stuff that I love so what more can I ask for? Right off the bat, we’re immediately introduced to our plucky heroine, Mary, who already had survived her transformation from mermaid to human and was trying her best to make the Prince, the one she assumed was her true love, fall in love with her. Unfortunately, exploding into a sea foam instead of getting married was more…

Book Review: Nightstrider

Why is the author making us wait this long for the 2nd book to come out? I want to jump right into it after finishing Nightstrider because I don’t want to break that feeling about being so hyped up about our beloved characters finally smoking the peace pipe (albeit temporarily) and uniting to bring down the accursed conqueror of both the Wake and the Reverie. There’s something about the books being published by Thomas Nelson that never could go wrong. The last time I requested an ARC, Storm Siren, from them was probably in 2014 and I really enjoyed the book. So when I went back to Netgalley and saw the ARCs they were offering, I immediately grabbed this one. And just as I expected, The Winged Tiara delivered all the things that I want in a historical romance novel. Two lovable protagonists, an action-packed plot with full of twists, a cozy romance all happening in different quaint places. Our story starts when our heroine,…
