Book Review: All That Glows

All That Glows is another product of my failed attempts to search for “that” awesome fairy book. Sure, it has originality, but the author failed to take advantage of that as she messed up in terms of properly executing the whole story. All That Glows is another reason why readers find themselves reluctant to read fairy stories. It is so reminiscent of those “books” that suffered from predictable and romance driven-plot, underdeveloped MCs, and lacklustre world building. *eyeroll* But I think, it would quite serve its purpose when one is looking for something light to read just to kill time.…

Book Review: Addicted To You

Howdy, my bloggy friends? We have 2 more hours to go and it’s jingle bells already.  Since most of you are spending a White Christmas, I decided to post a steamy review to make things warmer. Guys…guys…this book…this book is nothing like I’ve encountered before.  It’s disturbing… it’s thought provoking and definitely an eye-opener.  I admit that I got this because of the hype and the curious premise. And after reading it, I have to CONGRATULATE myself big time because I’ve just read my first zombie book. Bwahahahaha. So what can I say about my experience with Dead Beautiful? Well, I can’t deny…

Book Review: Cinder

Perhaps one of the biggest regrets I have in my life was not reading this book immediately. Cinder has just restored my faith on hyped books and on fairy tale retellings in general. You see, there’s just so many fairy tale retellings made over the years that it was already tiring to read them because they have nothing new to offer. Even the movies suffer the same fate. So when I decided to read this book, it was of great caution. I even encased my heart with steel bars just in case. It has been glued over and over again…
