How is November for you, guys? Alas, this is the month that I had to say farewell to the hubby as he travelled to his hometown to visit his sibling, nephew, relatives, and most of all, his dear mother. It would be another month of missing him before we get to see each other for the Yuletide holidays.
Though November seemed slow in terms of happenings/events, I still embraced it because I had a lot of time to catch up with my amigurumi targets. Yes, I have a lot of projects lined up since I am planning to gift my godchildren and nieces with amigurumis. But this is me being too hopeful when my hands are cramping and aching after a few hours of crocheting. Being a beginner, I still don’t have enough muscle strength to keep on crocheting for hours and hours just like the veterans do. Well, let us just see how many I can make before the holidays. Worse comes to worst, I still have the option to buy ready made toys and the kids would prolly love them more than the crocheted ones. Heh.
So setting aside crocheting and the preparations being made for the upcoming holidays in December, November was uneventful. It’s okay though because I got more time to binge watch Arrow and when it becomes too tedious to watch, I’d switch to reading some of those books that I have been temporarily DNFing.
On the crazier side of things, I was able to finally cook spaghetti. Yes, you’ve read that right. Congratulate me for being so brave and bold for taking that leap of faith. Thank heavens, it was not a disaster albeit I had to re-read the instructions thrice on how to cook Al Dente Pasta because you know, I don’t really trust myself to understand simple recipe instructions the first time I read it. I have to shake hands with myself because the final product was satisfactory and I my tummy was okay and I wasn’t poisoned. That is an accomplishment right there, boyo.
So that’s November for me? How was yours?
